cool effect - save our snowmen

 

Remember how sad you felt when Frosty melted? Well, that’s actually happening in real life, thanks to climate change. Dying snowmen are topic of this mockumentary for Cool Effect. Warm temperatures force snowmen to migrate north to cooler climates, leaving friends and family behind. This film brings to light this dire situation and asks for your help. We then blew it out with a full social and digital campaign to help spread awareness. Snowmen proved the perfect spokespeople to talk about Climate Change in a new different way for the holidays that had a big impact on the brand.

soy vay - apollo '13

 

There’s a lot of teriyaki sauce out there. But only one that’s been to space. For this brand activation, we cooked a chicken in lower orbit with Soy Vay teriyaki sauce. But before we launched the chicken, we launched a website — complete with teaser videos talking about the “science” behind cooking a chicken in space. We followed up with a digital, DM and pre-roll campaign to raise awareness. It all culminated in a press event the day we sent the chicken to space via a military-grade weather balloon. Just like Felix Bumgarner, only tastier. It reached 110,000 feet and returned to earth fully cooked. Yes, we ate it. And yes, it was delicious.

cool effect - carbon can’t hide

 

Carbon dioxide is killing the planet, and we don’t even see it. Until now. With the help of the FLIR camera’s carbon-filter technology, we helped people see how much CO2 mankind produces in this film for Cool Effect. By exposing this invisible enemy, we’re letting people know that the time for action against climate change is now. Carbon pollution can’t hide anymore. This film and digital campaign showcased all of the ways that carbon is impacting our environment.

Take your nose out of your laptop and you’ll see a world where Intel is truly everywhere. Intel was seeking a stronger B2B presence, so we took over their social channels to highlight the many different ways Intel has an impact on everyday life. From your laptop to street lights to garbage trucks, Intel truly is everywhere.

Zimperium - Mobile Menaces

 

Back in the day, there were simple computer bugs. Now, we have Mobile Menaces. These truly evil creations seek to wreak havoc on your mobile devices and your company’s data. They lurk around every street corner, cafe or even your own office. To educate people about these threats we brought them to life for Zimperium. We developed, designed and illustrated Mobile Menaces. By giving them a (nasty) face we hope people will take them more seriously. We developed trading cards, posters, and t-shirts that were given out at events. We also made social and digital ads to raise awareness.

ebay motors - the road home

 

What if we thanked American veterans for their service by handing them the keys to their dream car? That’s what we did with Ebay Motors for this content series. The Road Home celebrated our troops and raised awareness of eBay’s online auto sales site. Created in partnership with hot rod shop West Coast Customs, the films featured stories of four recently returned veterans and the one-of-a-kind vehicles we built for them. The program helped raise over $200,000 for veterans thanks to a social media donation drive and was even featured in a full-length episode of the West Coast Customs show on Fox Sports.

greenworks - reverse graffitti project

 

Cleaning really is an art. We hired a “reverse graffiti” artist to stencil and power wash a mural in the Broadway Tunnel in San Francisco for Greenworks, an environmentally friendly household cleaning product. For this content, we partnered with acclaimed documentary filmmaker Doug Pray to capture all the action while the city slept.

YMCA - mentors

 

It’s more than a gym. It’s more than a Village People song. The YMCA has been changing the lives of youths for over a century through a variety of programs for youth to embolden and educate themselves. For this short film, we focused on the story of Tristen Ellington and how the YMCA can make a huge difference in his life.

The great explorers of the last century were legends. Not only did they accomplish the seemingly impossible, they did it with style. Inspired by these intrepid explorerrs, Napapijri brings a new twist on outdoor apparel by combining innovative materials with an unabashed sense of style. For this campaign we used peoples natural fascination with exploring and made it a rallying cry for the brand: I was here. The campaign showcased all the amazing places that people have been in their Napapijri gear.

Photographers and illustrators are notorious for killing trees. More specifically, they send out printed promotional pieces like there’s no tomorrow. As a creative, our mailboxes get flooded with them. At best, we just glance at them before disposing. First-stop.org aims to stop that by bringing together photographers and illustrators onto one site where creatives of all kinds can find  and share their work in an environmentally friendly, 100% digital way.

soy vay - flavor underground

 

Does Teriyaki taste good on everything? The folks at Soy Vay think so. And it turns out, many San Francisco chefs agree. To showcase new recipes that would bring out the bold flavors of Soy Vay, we hit the streets of San Francisco for the second season of Flavor Underground.  This time around, we challenged Wise Sons Delicatessen and Vietnamese pop-up Rice Paper Scissors to come up with their own takes on recipes featuring Soy Vay sauces.
